In 1998 Liza Marklund was the first winner of the Poloni Prize for best female detective-fiction writer. The UK version of Kajsa von Hofsten's translation of Sprängaren (The Bomber) is due for publication later this year, and Pocket Books also have the rights to two more of her novels.
