The
interview is reprinted with the kind permission of Bob Cornwell
and the editors of Tangled Web, a UK Internet magazine
devoted to Crime, Mystery and Fantastic Fiction. The Tangled
Web website can be found at www.twbooks.co.uk.
Ralph, Geoff and Liz Lees (editor and founders) write: Tangled
Web was set up in 1996 with the aim of promoting (mainly)
UK crime fiction, both nationally and world-wide, through
the medium of the Internet. We chose Crime Fiction because
it is a major area of interest to fiction readers, and also
because it is a shared area of interest within the team.
The site acts as an ever-changing resource for research, with
up-to-date information on current titles, reviews and also
news, interviews, and articles of general interest to the
crime fiction enthusiast. There is also a huge range of author
profile pages, which we believe is a unique facility of our
site.
The site now consists of nearly 200 megabytes of information
and is visited by over 1000 people every day.
